  1. They should fit any AR-15 platform.
  2. I gathered a rifle, loaded up in the jeep in search of coyotes, none found but sun fresh air and the glory of spring moved my soul. Next time perhaps a wiley coyote.
  3. FUN!! hahah you must enjoy the adage just empty every pocket lol
  4. Here in Wyoming the badger is a fur bearer and needs permit to take, handsome devils that dig huge holes and a nasty temper! Loading to music hahah I managed to forget my work and just enjoyed the sounds, Im sure PinkFloyd had the greatest influence on velocity and accuracy hahahah!
  5. my inner moron engaged the trans is NP435 not 335
  6. Hey gents is there anyone who uses a jeep as shooting/hunting vehicle other than me? 1985 Jeep CJ-7 Currie rock jock axles, rebuilt dana 300 t case with twin sticks, new NP 335 trans, rebuilt 4.2 6 banger 33 inch maxxis tires
  7. Your right on track! My only added thought is maybe make sure you tip the round skyward to flow powder to the primer and maybe have better ignition, perhaps the word should be consistent?
  8. Not having done the case rotation during seating I was curious. One friend of mine swears by this to seat bullets and crimp too, always seemed a waste of time to me and thank you sir for confirmation of my thoughts.
  9. Great choice! I love the cheek pad/comb and the groups make my toes tingle.
  10. I somehow got the idea that the rebarrel idea may involve a contour change. My accuracy note was only a memory of a great rifle sold when I was young and foolish. Best wishes for great shooting.
  11. I h;ad a savage/Anschutz mk10 zero ejection issues and accuracy was better than I could manage prone, never shot off benches in my youth. why change barrels?if you retain the same contour and results on target are what you ask why bother? And no I don't hate CZ I have a couple.
  12. yes the chronograph is the handloaders best friend indeed I seat about where I don't get engraving on the ogive or when it fits the magazine, I shoot some bolt guns others farquarson type single shots.
  13. I tend not to jam into the lands and I don't worry about compressed loads, follow data and increase charge in 10ths
  14. Perfect reply! we tend to all think in the same way. To date my CZ550 22-250 has 4400 rnds down the tube, been hot enough to brand cattle and still does .50 5 shot groups, yes it slowed 150 fps. When I see keyholes its new barrel time. My other 22-250 was built in 1951 purchased used and zero idea of round count .25 is normal grouping for this one, 30 inch barrel means 3850 fps with a 50grn Nosler Ballistic tip over CFE ,223, Lapua brass, Federal 210M primers.

Yes indeed .204 ruger, Never used Hbn , I don't worry to excess about copper but less is better, sweets 7.62 or montana extreme copper killer all is well in 40ish strokes any way. Cfe223 produces better muzzle velocitys with good accuracy in several cartridges so I purchased "plenty"
  16. I would contact Redding for advice, failing that new die set RCBS or FORSTER
  17. Im curious about what you gents consider adequate barrel life and perhaps the style of shooting you do Hunting F class ect? thanks

Hi Bob I shoot a Ruger no1V stainless laminate, 39 grn sierra blitzkings over 27.3 grns IMR 8208XBR. Soon to change to 29.0 of 223 to help reduce the copper fouling. Nosler Brass and Br4 primers.
  20. A very interesting concept, perhaps im more simplistic, I don't compete just long range varminter and I mostly wont shoot much past 500 yds. My theory is slightly faster twist than required for a given bullet, could well be wrong but its working for me.
  21. The chart is nice it recommend twist rates and wonderful for that, what will group better or worse requires shooting and results on target .when bullets were not as well balanced/made as they are now maybe this chart would have been more able to provide a clue, honestly I prefer to shoot and see my results.
  22. I no longer use bronze brushes, nylon is the way, however you cant harm steel with bronze its softer. I use nylon brushes due to the copper removers eating bronze. I clean after a season, or weather or in the case of corrosive ammo after the shoot. rimmfires when I feel sorry for them, shotgun about the same. When I competed NRA Smallbore about 4 month intervals and then planned on 20 foulers to regain zero.
  23. A wise choice sir! If you can break one I don't know how and with any reasonable care mine will do my shooting lifetime with ease.
  24. Idk why I managed to underline the above sorry.
