  1. To do 1200 yards with my creedmoor I Needed 12.5 Mrad /43 ish MOA . Before I put my 20 moa rail on I had around 17-18 mrad so even with a flat rail and mounts I can STILL do it 👍, your be fine . P.s the above is with a 136 scenar.
  2. I think riflecraft mods just “ Hardy sound moderators “ The rimfire ones are ok , the C/F are ok . Just my opinion , there are better out there though .
  3. 👍 be interested to know what’s what , I’m with you though it’s a little confusing.
  4. Yeah see what they say , in fact I have just put a tier one 20 moa rail on mine and I now have a total of 23.5 mils from my zero 😎which is giving me 80.79 moa Amount : 23.5 milli-radians (mrad of angle)Equals : 80.79 minutes (' , MOA / angle)
  5. the PST gen 2 and the Razor HD gen 2 have the same elevation, well nearly PST has 70 MOA and Razor HD has 71 MOA I use and PST gen 2 on my little remmy 700 5R gen 2 with a 24" barrel and with a flat rail and mounts I have more then enough elevation to get me out past 1200 yards . the pst is a fantastic bit of kit . ( I have two of them ) both in Mrad and they both work faultlessly. Easily worth the money in my opinion. in fact yesterday I took my 6.5 Creedmoor and PST gen 2 to the range and was smashing 1000 yard .
  6. Hahah love it , and your not wrong 😳🤔 lovly rifle and good luck with your sale .
  7. Well it looks and sounds the Biz 👍 I will have a look out for them .
  8. Looks pretty good 👍 have to see how you get on with it , what is it made from ? I have this morning picked up my Ase Utra jet Z compact for my Tic Tac .308
  9. I’m yet to give it a real testing , will be shooting it out to 1200 yards this week so will have a better idea . The testing I have done so far , it’s tracks superbly. The glass , clear and bright . The light transmission beats my swaro X5i , edge to edge on full mag the image is flat and Cristal clear . And testing against bright white and dark objects/ surfaces the scope shows absolutely no Chromatic aberration which I a first for me . Eye relief is very comfortable and forgiving during extended glassing . Turrets are spot on , and the zero lock is easy to work and set up , fast focus eye box is very good and extremely precise . Over all I’m very happy with it . But like I said I've not really pushed it as i only mounted it last sat .
  10. Thank you .. Used it for the first time on sat and was properly impressed. will be putting it through its paces this weekend
  11. We’re not allowed semi auto centerfire in good old Blighty. Your be better off asking on USA forums I would have thought. Here would be a good start http://www.65creedmoor.com/index.php?action=forum they seem a friendly bunch and helpful . There’s quite a few people on there that use 6.5 creedmoor in AR format for all sorts.
  12. As per title Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24-50 FFP EBR-2C MOA reticle ( matched turrets and reticle ) Bought from new about 3 months ago to use on my .22 hornet just as a back up rifle really . To be honest I only zeroed it and had a play and that’s been about it really , it’s been sat in the cabinet. I no longer have the hornet so this scope needs a new home . Scope has some great glass , tracks and works faultlessly. Comes with all original packaging, sun shade ( fitted in pic ) and lens caps . will throw in Vortex 30 mm tactical rings and Vortex scope level full spec https://www.uttings.co.uk/p130936-vortex-diamondback-tactical-ffp-6-24x50-rifle-scope-moa-dbk-10028/#.XP5TnsrTWhA whole lot £415.00 inc post
  13. Congratulations , and well done on some clearly fantastic shooting 👍👍👍
  14. Yep 👍 I know exactly what you mean , each to there own but for me it goes Glass mounts rifle in that order you can have the most accurate rifle in the world or as your budget allows but it don’t mean shite if you can’t see your target .
  15. As mentioned in a previous post I have just taken charge of a new leupold 5 x 25 x56 Mark 5 HD and with it having a 35 mm tube I i have noticed mounts ( decent ones ) are a little thin on the ground . Anyway decided to take a punt on a Spuhr , at £300 there not cheap but ..... so glad I did in the end . These mounts are IMHO magnificent. The design and build quality is just out there on its own , and the different ways you can adapt the mount is just mind blowing . Over the years a have had what we’re meant to be the best . Looking back I was so wrong . If your wanting a set of tactical mounts and your umming and arhhhing if you should spend the money . JUST DO IT ! If you don’t your just wish you did .
  16. Totally agree it’s a very personal thing 👍 I did look at S&B but just can’t get on with them. I also don’t find them worth the ££. Regards light transmission I found the leup mark 5 HD to be on par with my Swarovski's . Also found . Also the intended use plays a massive part.
  17. Like the gentleman above I full length size after every firing. However I don’t anneal I get about 12 - 15 reloads out of my brass. I don’t run it hot though . Maybe I’m just lucky
  18. FL every time here too . Have done for years . Throw that collet die in the bin 👍
  19. Bullets ( single projectiles) are not in the same classification as lead shot in SG shells as there jacketed and therefore would not be included in any lead shot ban .... if there was one . Will try and find you the info on this later . Maybe much later down the line but not from the off , so stop worrying and carry on what your doing .
  20. Good old Buck . All stainless, rubber grips come off for cleaning , one handed open/close holds an edge forever , had this one for 18 yrs .
  21. As per title anyone use a Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25x56 IR 35mm ? Have just bought one for my impending creedmoor rifle build and thought this would be fantastic sat on top , rifle is going to used exclusively for long range and the occasional fallow / sika for anyone interested here’s the full spec and link . https://www.uttings.co.uk/p131461-leupold-mark-5hd-5-25x56-ir-35mm-rifle-scope-leu-171776/#.XPEb5BrTWhA i have for years now just played safe with my swaro X5i and older Kahles Vortex ect ect . But now the time has come I want a proper long range scope with all the trimmings ( useful ) And so with not owing a leupold scope for many years ( and then it was only a cheap one for my rimmy ) I be interested to hear people’s experiences. yes I have used and tested the above scope at ranges over distance and loved it but a couple of half hr plays with one doesn’t tell you much about living with one a year down the line .
  22. Yes and no , it’s seems this can vary from county to county , to remain the right side of the law is a quick phone call to you FEO . As your no doubt going to find your get lots of different answers and opinions . Just give them a call , they don’t bite 👍
