  1. Hi. Does anyone know whether the Tenebraex flip up scope cover will screw into a Nightforce V171 sunshade? Any help would save a lot Goggle trawling?
  2. Agree. I bought one for Xmas. Sat out out for fox 2 hrs at -5C. Just wore a merino t shirt, buffalo shirt and medium weight windproof fleece up top. I was warm and did not feel weighed down and constricted by layers.
  3. They're all a pain in the arse! I've tried the figure of 8, Luchs ball mount, and 2 different adjustable mounts. All of them require careful cossetting otherwise they can lose adjustment slightly, needing a tweak to centre the beam. Sadly it's all we've got at the moment so I put up with and live in hope for something that isn't over engineered and has screws that aren't made out of plastic metal.
  4. Why not use a 30mm tube Picatinny lamp mount. Before tightening the screws swivel it to whatever angle you require? I had mine swivelled so the rear of the torch was between both turrets. If you want more offset you can use a Picatinny raiser block which come in either low or high..
  5. This Nightmaster 800 torch has the adjustable light control unit and battery extension fitted. It comes with a red IR pill and a white pill so it can be used as a very powerful torch. It is in near new condition. Batteries not included but postage is! The whole package costs £150 new. Selling for £90 or near offer.
  6. Hi. I'm presuming you have a 56mm objective. Will they fit without a flip cover fitted?
  7. Hi. I too am currently thinking of getting that scope and have exactly the same questions. Hoping someone will come back with answers?
  8. Hi. Yes the same here. I have an expander mandrel on order from Spud. Just waiting for it to arrive.
  9. But no Feral Pigeon. The licence application on NE website last week covered Pigeon (both Wood and Feral) but didn't work when I tried to fill it out! Duh!!
  10. The Blog has been removed and the link doesn't work???? Cancel my last, I have found it further down the page. It mentions a wobbly drill, but it doesn't say whether a wobbly drill does a bad neck turn? I'm assuming the mandrel in the neck keeps everything aligned so the cut is true?
