  1. Hi, and Happy New Year. Dolphin, Has anyone used these scope rings?
  2. It is. Just had a play with Strelok Pro set up for my 6.5x55SE firing a 114gr bullet at 2835fps. At 300yards with a 70mph wind from 3 0clock the horizontal correction is R16.2MOA 🤣.
  3. Or white electricians tape and then mark them up with a fine tipped Sharpie
  4. This scope is is in very good condition. 2 light scratches as per the photo. Very light scuff marks on focus wheel. Glass is perfect with no marks or scratches. Illumination works. 5. Illumination works. MRAD turret and Mil Hash reticle.Comes with Warne QD low mounts that fit Picatinni rail on Mauser M12, Sako 85.£425 plus P&P
  6. I'm selling my Pulsar C50. Less than a year old. it is in mint condition with perfect glass, no scuffs or ring marks. Firmware updated. Still in warranty. It does have the illuminator but I never fitted that. Boxed with all ancillaries and paperwork. Looking for £900 or near offer postage included. This is posted on other forums.
  7. I may be teaching you to suck eggs, but I suggest you ask to possess more than you need to buy. For example: Hold 600 and buy 500. Ensures you always have enough in hand to see you through 'till the next shopping trip.
  8. Hi. I have the following part used tubs of powder which I no longer use. These are all less than 18 months old and have been stored in a dry environment at 22 Centigrade. Given weights are for powder out of the tub. RS60. 490gram. £35. Vit N555. 330gram. £25. Vit N656. 200gr. £10. Face to face transaction only. Please PM me if you are interested.
  9. That's ridiculous! I don't own a Sabbati but have owned Remington, Howa, Tikka, Blaser, Mauser and Sako. They've been in wood, laminate and synthetic stocks. Some pillar bedded, some not. None have required more than 4nm torque.
  10. Or Ogdens Shooting Supplies, another British company that uses British materials and has excellent customer service. Phone him and discuss your requirements and he's happy to do it. here's a link: https://www.ogdensshootingsupplies.co.uk/tactical-rifle-case/tactical-rifle-case-1
  11. Thank you Catch 22. It is a cracking scope and I put it up for what I thought was a fair price. Hopefully someone will offer £850.
  12. You're right. I've just looked on the Optics Warehouse and the one they show has 3 stars and bigger numerals on the turrets. So that must be the Mark3, in which case mine is a Mark2. It is a good scope and it's £100 cheaper than a Hawke Frontier!
  13. Have a look at this: https://www.p-max.uk/ It'll give you a good idea of the most efficient powder for you barrel length and bullet. Certainly worked very well for my .243 and let me compare several powders against each other.
  14. If it's the 20" barrel on the T3 it will not be the most efficient using Vit 160 and 140 grain bullets. That's not to say it won't work, it will, but at light loads you are going to get a lot of soot on the neck and shoulders of the fired cartridge case. You may have noticed that all the load data published always shows "24" Barrel". I found that a decent velocity and complete powder burn was achieved from my Tikka 20" barrel with Vit 150 and SST 129grain bullets.
  15. This is a SFP scope on a 34mm tube with the Mil/Mil DLS-2 ZS reticle. In as new condition, boxed with all paperwork. Bought for a project but circumstances have now changed, so sadly it has to go. Looking for £900 or very near offer.
  16. Hi. Have looked at https://www.p-max.uk/int_bal_manual.htm. Its free. Feed your data in and it will show you how the powder behaves, ie: Powder fill, Pressure, Velocity, how much powder is burnt in the barrel etc. etc. Well worth a look.
