  13. Out of curiosity John, what range do they zero the 45 degree red dots for? Are they for close up stages?

  15. They won't appear to if nobody complains, they won't necessarily think anyone was outraged! Respect is a personal thing, it can't be forced out of someone. if somebody forgets, shoots through, didn't know, or chose not to then that's for them to reconcile.
  16. Has anyone, who was outraged, spoken to the NRA about this, or are you relying on an Internet forum to prevent a reoccurrence? Much easier to address concerns at the time
  17. Yep, that's an Irish Rifle reticle. AI bought back Irish L96's in p[art exchange for AW's. 35 I believe, the details are in Steve Houghton's new book, and sold them off to the US. The scopes were sold off separately and many are still in the UK, including yours. So it's a genuine AI scope, but not from a British L96. Not as desirable. £500-700 if you can find the right buyer I would say
  18. If it is this one, then it is UK Military If it is a cross hair, in which the lower vertical leg is thicker than the other three then it is one of the Irish Army scopes that were traded in, the rifles went to the US (Gunsite) and the scopes were sold off in the UK.
  19. Depends on the reticle They have been on the market over the last few years from £500 - £800 Unless someone needs one to go on an L96/L96 replica or an L42 with the special bracket they are just a 6x42 scope. What reticle does it have?
  20. Excellent write up Dave an very good of you to share your knowledge
  21. Muzzle brakes are declared when booking, so you can't blame them for not walking round telling everyone too. So, is between 1 and 3 of them were using them, could you not have walked over and asked them if the muzzle braked guns could use the lane farthest from you? They probably wouldn't have minded. I bet it wasn't as bad as having a club of about a dozen next to you, all stood just behind the point having half a dozen conversations (mostly conspiracy theory shite about Covid) at the top of their voices to be heard over the shooting and whilst wearing ear defenders! Now that is inconsiderate.
