Well after 2 years of waiting to be allowed out to play the planets aligned .
Flights on offer at 29.99 return (plus the seat booking fees of £4 each way, wouldnt let me stand )
Slack time work wise
Pass isued by the managment
Double jabbed
Czech accepting UK residents .
So
Mask on and a drive to Stanstead heading to Brno
Met by Dave at the airport (2hours later ) and off for some food then to the accomadation .
Pick up after breakfast and down to the range ,
My choice was to get back into the pistol shooting (bit rusty after 2 years ) and was using a Shadow 2 with optics (maybe my compact 75 needs retiring ) . Decided my grip isnt good as my thumbs get in the way so worked on that with a few differnt drills ( dont tell Craig i borrowed his holster )
Day 2 was carbine time with a bit of shooting with the MP5 going through some drills and ending up with a speed shooting 11 target (1 moving ) timed shoot (4.7 something ) while being totally out classed by Dave with his Sig MPX .Was told the Sig was quicker (he was clocking 3.17 ) He was right managed a 3.74 3 times on the bounce with the Sig .
Last day was a quick refresh before heading to the Airport and the normal side of life ..
If youve not tried it just do it
Note i choose to limit my choices weapon wise but far more is available Glocks CZ in a variety of flavours some mix of carbines and a belt fed antique (if it floats your boat )
Enclosed some pics below (i think i hid the ones of me )

every box of ammo carries a massive disclaimer , you use at your own risk .
which to be fair is right as they have no knowledge of the condition of your rifle . if the ammo was made to spec . its the rifle manufacturer you should be speaking to ,
S&B will just file your complaint in the correct bin .
theres the question

I am not saying it is not true, but if there was an issue, you would expect a product recall in general
you mean you would hope ....

There are no News alerts or Safety Notices posted on the NRA or NSC website, nor is there any info on the S&B website.
I find it unlikely that individual club members have been told, with no public announcement. Hardly an effective way to carry out a product recall.
What was his source?
Club Secetary had a call during the week as some had been bought on a club ticket and i watched one guy hand in around 200 a was refunded . They would have the contact details for any purchaser wouldnt they ? Only trying to save someone some aggro but .....

Hopefully the EU will show some sort of reciprocity to the U.K. opening borders.
Derek, I was shooting it today, thought I was faster than a fast thing, then I let Thomas have a go, that peed in my cornflakes.
Thomas is a machine and got that advantage on both of us called youth ......

Thank you all again for your varied opinions, they make an interesting read. I know the AI and Sako are both up there in terms of cost and I could build a full custom for around the same money, but, and it’s a big but! Will a custom action sat in a PSE, McMillan or nice chassis really be much better for an average shooter like me? Or will time behind an AI or sako with a box full of ammunition and some further training improve me quicker.
i bought an AIAX it will always shoot better than me , I asked Baldie on here loads of stuff (probably some stupid questions my specialised subject) . I shot DS1 338 in Czech loved it ...
But i talked myself out of it the price mainly , then i shot one at Bisley owned by a complete stranger after my mate asked him if i could , the rest is history . Love it cant see me selling it might get it refinished to match my AK Russian bride (rescued from the clutches of the North)
Whatever you choose just enjoy it qs long as you possibly can ..
