I too bought the same bag for lumping various bits of stuff (rear bags, ammo, torx wrench, kestrel etc etc). I use it in addition to the AIM bags I use…which are very helpful (especially using backpack straps).

The above fishing bag I bought off Amazon I think.
its been really good, especially when it rains as the central compartment stays dry inside.
But I’ve found the zip recently went. I think I just overloaded it.
my next purchase will be a 4x wheel folding trolly/buggy. Easier on the shoulders of carrying two rifles plus mat plus range bag etc etc.

Re 224 Valkyrie, it’s becoming my favourite rifle, home loaded 88g Hornady Eldm’s will get around 805 m/s at 15c and Hornady factory Match 88g Eldm’s around 815 m/s at 15c out of my 20” JP Ar15. Accuracy is good with both factory and home loads producing sub 4cm 5 shot groups at 300m. This is better than a lot of the YouTube vids seem to indicate.

Two caveats, my rifle is semi-auto so I am loosing maybe 40fps with the gas system and the attraction to me is an AR15 mag length round with a high for caliber bc that is supersonic at 1km.

I know Baldie has built a few 224V  bolt guns so would highly value his experience. Also as far as YouTube goes Ultimate Reloader ( Gavin Toobin?) has done videos on his 224V Ar15 and bolt gun builds.

In a bolt guns there are obviously not the same magazine and bolt face constraints that are inherent in an AR15 platform so then I would maybe be looking at 22br if you’re only going to home load. 224V is still good ( or has been for me) with factory ammunition.

That in semi auto would shame a few bolt guns  supebly accurate (even with me behind it )

    There's some cracking 51m groups there 👏 👏.

I know from my own experience finding the right lot of ammo is so crucial..

My CZ452 wasn't ment too be a tac driver but with the right ammo it can be..

It looks like the custom barrel is the way forward for ultimate accuracy.

I understand what your saying and it sounds right put that way ... I guess my frustration is down to one area allowing it without any fuss only to find my area stating the paid part stops me being a servant .. They seem happy enough with my circumstances to grant me an RFD for the same purposes but it still seems a play on words but with an additional application fee ... Or am i being a Cynic

But would it be possible to do the same service for other RFD'S if so whose RFD would you be on ?
