  1. I've shot my 6.5x47 at 1200yds using 123gn Scenars with 41.5 grains of RS60 at 3050fps. (30" 8-twist Lothar barrel, may not be safe in your rifle) Wind was a big problem, although I did get one "V"..............According to Litz, they were doing 1240fps at 1200yds, so still just supersonic. Pete
  2. Scenar 155's now sold..............awaiting funds for the Redding dies. Re-pete

  5. I have an Opticron HR66 GA ED with a straight tube, SDL zoom eyepiece, (max 54x), and a khaki zip-on protective jacket. This has been unused for a year now, so is surplus to requirements. Review here: https://www.opticronusa.com/PDF/Paul_Brewster_HR_66.pdf PM if of any interest Pete
  6. I think you must be talking about Farcebook, to which I never have, nor ever will subscribe...................I was talking about the "other" shooters forum.........😉 Re-Pete
  7. And if you don't belong to a photo hosting thingy? Very easy on FB, without having to join yet another "community".............. Re-Pete
  8. 30" 11 twist s/steel Bartlein barrel (fitted by Dolphin Rifles, round count approx 1250), Davies 2-stage trigger (plus the Swing original), Lynx rear sight and Fulton adjustable front sight with iris. The receiver is fitted with a low-profile scope rail, and a pair of Optilock 30mm rings are included, making the rifle suitable for TR, F/TR and MR. Also comes with a Flambeau case. Selling due to lack of use. These days, I prefer to shoot smaller calibres. £1200 or sensible offer. Dies/bullets/cases are also available separately. Can be seen at Bisley or Southampton by arrangement. Pete
  9. OK, they're yours..........I'll sort out the mail and PM you. P{ete
  10. Or a Lee collet die.......... Pete
  11. I had the same initial problem, until I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/imuto-27000mAh-Portable-Qualcomm-External-Quick-Charge-Power-bank/dp/B07FL1T718/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?hvadid=80882856020416&hvbmt=bp&hvdev=c&hvqmt=p&keywords=imuto&qid=1558280182&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1 Fully charged, I can leave mine on for at least 5 x 4-hour sessions and still have plenty left. But beware, the stupidly frail micro USB socket on the Labrad body will get smashed if you're not VERY careful when plugging the lead in and out. Stupid design on an otherwise good product......a standard USB port would be far stronger and better. I'm looking into modding mine. Pete
  12. My trial run with molten salt definitely softened the neck/shoulder area. The difference was easily felt simply by squashing the neck before and after with a pair of long nosed pliers. (a dud case........) As for annealing too much of the case body, jury is still out............. Pete
  13. Thanks for the heads up................I have two 595's, and the bottom plastic is dire......... Re-Pete
  14. If you want intimate surface contact, ie a gap filler, I'd go for the steel powdered version. But beware, it'll still stick like s++t to a blanket, so a liberal application of boot polish on the receiver is advised if you ever want to get it off again. Pete
  15. The 64 is not as good as the 54...............hence the price difference. https://www.nsrashop.co.uk/products/anschutz-match-54 https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/rifles/anschutz/bolt-action/22-lr/match-54-180925233107008 Re-Pete
  16. Huh? That's a new one......I'll look into it. Meanwhile, you have first shout (if you want 'em, that is...) I'll try pm'ing you. Pete
