Why don't you get one of these mounts?

The RUAG guys were using these mounts on their rifles on Saturday at the LRRRC shoot at Bisley.

Have a browse at these - https://riflemags.co.uk/aics-short-action-magazines/?filters[custom_fields.calibre][0]=.308&filters[custom_fields.model fit][0]=aics short action
I use AICS magazines on both 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor. The only thing I homed in on was getting magazines without the binder plate to allow for the potentially longer 6.5 Creedmoor round.

Despite working in IT off and on since 1976, I find sticky labels and notebooks essential for tracking the life of my brass. I take the approach that as each batch of brass has to have a label, it might as well be a useful label. I do use MS Word to generate my labels. I don't see the need to increase my workload by entering any info into a spreadsheet or database.

Bike kit is a good suggestion. I got this set some time ago - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JKJTDWC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No, I bought a Rem 700 in 308 Win and have re-barrelled it to 260 Rem three times. The only failure that I had with the rifle was the bottom metal failed at the rear action screw hole. I did get Grant Taylor to upgrade the firing pin, but that was my choice and there was nothing wrong with the original firing pin.

What puzzles me is no-one ever mentions the % yield of their reloading process. I guess everyone apart from me must be a Six Sigma Black Belt.

I use StrelokPro infrequently, but find it very handy. What I also do is keep a Word document that records the challenges that I have found and how they were fixed. I add screenshots to the Word doc. The idea is not make the same mistake twice.
