  1. Excellent result.. Hats off to both of you.
  2. Andrew, I think part of the problem is that the UK Labrador machine works on reduced power.
  3. The easiest way to visualise this is to download a ballistic program on your PC or app on your phone. Something like "Strelok" is free and you can tap in numbers to your hearts content. With a usual .22lr set-up with say a zero of 50 yards, for the first 15 or 20 yards the bullet will be below your sightline, it then crosses the sight line, proceeds in a gentle curve above your sightline, rising about an inch above at the highest point then crosses your sightline again at your zero distance.
  4. With Eley subs I find a 55 yard zero suits me. With that zero you are dead on at around 20 yards and within 3/4", either under or over from about 12 yards to about 65 yards. Expect to get a clean kill with a headshot at the range you can consistently hit a 2p piece.
  5. Hi 204 - For some reason I can't send you a message - PM me.
  6. Roy and Dave - your Labradar sights are in the post.
  7. Yes, just offer it up and it snaps into place and self-aligns.
  8. I've designed and 3d printed a simple sight that clicks on the Labradar with a magnet - helps to line it up easier and makes it less temperamental with the smaller calibres.
  9. What are these metres thingies (1002.......1040yards)
  10. I think I would be inclined to find an appropriate HT socket head countersunk screw and see if you could get the head reprofiled and re blacked. Is this an original Finnfire P94s?
  11. I have the Savage instructions somewhere but here's a RB video for the Rem 700
  12. Guess I'd better get my scales checked - I find I get around 47 - 52 kernels of Varget to a grain, depending on batch. (around 5 kernels to 10th grain)
  13. That seems a heavy lot of Varget?
  14. Not what you're after I guess but I make a little girly bipod/rest for Anschutz, Walther, FWB target rifles - Fits the 12mm Euro rails.
  15. Yes, love the 3D printing - just ordered my second one. Some of the shooting related stuff I've designed and printed. Little bipod rest for target rifles - fits Anschutz, Walther, FWB etc. Single shot adapters for BSA S10 air rifle Console for target camera screen Target shooting specs Muzzle loading box Loading tray
  16. Yes, NRA TR target..On the other hand, your vertical is good at around .6moa so on a still day they would be quite tidy groups (depending on what equipment you're using.)
  17. I believe the dotted squares are 1 moa (about 10.5") so at a guess the top group would be about 15" across and the lower one about18"
  18. The technology is coming on in leaps and bounds Mr. C. and good to see it filtering down to us mere mortals at the bottom of the food chain. My cheap Chinese kit printer is putting out reasonable quality prints - These are BSA Superten air rifle single shot adapters in advanced PLA.
  19. Winans was derelict for about 20 years, it dropped out of use after the pistol ban. It's been up and running again for a year or so now. Great little 25 yard range with covered firing points. Now there's no covered firing points at 25 yards on Melville range, Winans is handy for muzzle loading pistol etc. also cleared for any calibre and shotgun slug I believe.
  20. Winans is right next to the Zero range.
  21. I use a CAD program called 123d design by Autodesk. It was a free program but unfortunately no longer available. Autodesk had three CAD software packages. Tinkercad, which is very basic, 123d, about half way house and Fusion 360. Tinkercad and Fusion 360 are still available and free I think.
  22. I design and print loads of stuff on my cheap little printer, here's just a few: Shooting specs: Fore sight elements: Magnetic rack for cabinet or side of vehicle: Inserts for cap & ball box: .45-70 Loading tray: FWB 124 air rifle trigger: Primer catcher for Rock chucker press: Adapter to fit webcam to my spotting scope:
