  1. Now down with me in Wiltshire until Thursday. Will be back here next week!
  2. Evening all,Due to a change in my reloading setup, I’m selling my RCBS MatchMaster powder dispenser. It’s a very quick unit that measures to 0.01gr. I’ve found it runs very well, with only the occasional over or underthrow. It’s in excellent condition and still fully boxed etc. There’s a review of one here - TESTED: NEW RCBS MatchMaster Powder Dispenser – Ultimate ReloaderAnd this is the cheapest I could find in the UK that’s not Amazon (where you could get hit with import taxes etc!) - RCBS Matchmaster Powder Dispenser 98941I’d like £750 for it please. I’d prefer collection/drop off, due to the weight and value. I’m travelling down from Yorkshire to Amesbury, Wiltshire tomorrow, and will be there until Thursday afternoon. Happy to meet en route!Photos: Thanks, Dr. S
  3. I’ve got the Vision chassis too - bolted my SSG in, didn’t need to re-zero then managed to win the McQueen’s at my local club! Big fan of the chassis - wish they made one for an Anschutz 1710…
  4. There’s a lovely SSG 3000 for sale above this post that’s crying out for a McMillan stock!
  5. This would go very nicely with the McMillan stock I’m selling for an SSG 3000…. See the thread below!
  6. Hi all, I’m selling a McMillan stock for my SSG 3000. I’ve moved over to a chassis and have no need for this anymore. It’s in used, but still good condition. The main marks are the odd chip and small scratch here and there. Nothing major! There’s a flush cup attached to the Picatinny rail under the forend, and another under the butt. Photos: I’d like £600 posted RMSD for it please. Thanks, Dr. S
  7. Do you use it for target shooting or for hunting? For target, the cheapest around is probably GGG. Normally around £40/50, although sometimes you can get it for less. For hunting, the cheapest I’ve seen was £28/20! Although hopefully you’d be shooting less than for target use.
  8. Do they have to be original? I have a set of Rusan 30mm SSG 69 rings. Very well made, and better than the originals in my opinion!
  9. Looks to be a Varmint Synthetic Fluted with an HS Precision stock.
  10. I believe so - I think the 54.18 is a repeater and no doubt has different action screw placing compared to the 1710/1712!
  11. Hi all,Long story short, I have a Forster .300Blk FLS die that I have no use for. Would anyone be willing to swap it for a Forster FLS .223 die by any chance? The .300 die appears unused: Regards, Dr. S
  12. As I understand it, the problem will have arisen at manufacture. The slave labour that was used to create a large amount of the rifles would ‘sabotage’ them by over-hardening them during construction (I’m no engineer so don’t know the ins and outs). Therefore you might be stuck with one of those rifles and may not be able to find anyone else who could do it. I suspect I know the original chap you’re referring to - I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do that sort of work (even if he doesn’t machine it himself) personally, but maybe that’s just me!
  13. Not much use to you but I’ve got a load with D073.6 and 77gr bullets. You might be able to swap your 73.4 for 73.6?
  14. Thought I’d replied but looks like it got lost! As I understand it, all rifles prior to serial #110 were ‘pre-production’ done in batches. I’ve not seen one of the post #110 rifles but they will accept at least Lancer magazines. I like it - not many about and a novel design for the time. I’ll try my hand at CSR with it - should be a laugh!
  15. Nearly a ten year bump! Anyone else got a CAM? Other than @saddler! Here are ours:
