Indeed, and the kit we have to generate them doesn’t seem very fit for purpose! I’m no armourer but are there new receivers still around? It would seem as if they’d wear out eventually. Only 200,000 were converted to A2 so is that stock finite?

That could lead us down a whole new rabbit hole with coordinate category! But to bring it back on track... Is direct impingement still considered the better method of cycling the action over gas piston? And unless I’m out of the loop and they’ve already begun, it will be very interesting to see what is trialled to replace the A3. Not that it doesn’t serve a purpose currently, more that at some point they will reach a stage where they’re not repairable/upgradeable!

This is the first housing that has been vapour honed and anodised. Not sure on a timeframe for the others but I’ll keep everyone posted.

The rest of the batch is here! Unfortunately there will be a delay to them being vapour honed and anodised but hopefully it won’t take too long! They all fit and function perfectly.

Unfortunately the manufacturers have had an air pipe burst on their CNC machine! I’m hopefully picking some up on Thursday and will aim to drop them off to be anodised the same day. Watch this space!

By way of an update, we’re currently working on making this compatible with double trigger SSG 69s as well. They’ll be slightly behind the single trigger versions but I hope it won’t take too long if anyone would like one!

Royal Mail finally came through! The model needs to be updated in order to create a better fit. That’ll be done in the coming days and then the final batch will be manufactured. After that they’ll be anodised and good to go!

Getting there - I had paid for one but as I’m a private individual the company turned out to not want to deal with me! Exploring other options currently. I’ll keep you posted though, and hopefully they’ll be ready before Christmas!

So, by way of an update... I’m looking into options for getting a production prototype made to check fit, finish and function. Once that’s here I’ll post photos and confirm interest before going any further. It will drag this out a bit longer (for which I apologise) but I’d rather have the peace of mind that it’s good to go before fully committing and before taking anyone’s money.

Hi all, I got this recently but found it was too low for the bell on my S&B. It’s in excellent condition. The height from the top of where the rail sits to where the bottom of the tube sits is 13.14mm. Asking what I paid for it - £35 posted. Cheers, Dr. S
