  1. They have been having their annual rally there for years, it fell at the same time as the NSRA meeting for a few years but they moved it earlier as there were too many people on site and it was considered to be a bit dangerous.
  2. To be honest, most of the accuracy in .22lr comes from finding the right ammo for the rifle. And that isn't always the brand or type, I started shooting in the prone .22 world and batch tested at Eley several times, back then you could only test Tenex which could provide staggeringly different groups from batch to batch. Alan
  3. Also had excellent service from them, needed springs for trip pro and they arrived in the post FOC Alan
  4. Personally I do the shoot 1 and clean, shoot 3 and clean, 5 and clean, 10 and clean process. Might not be necessary but it can't do any harm. Alan
  5. Form rifle stocks https://formriflestocks.co.uk/rifle-stocks/ Excellent quality, Debs has one on her custom 308 Alan
  6. Sweet, another one of Dave's works of magic... what bullet did you use? Alan
  7. Likewise running in a .260, excellent bullet. Although I use Vit160 Struggled to find any Lapua lately so if you've got a supply snatch them up.. Alan
  8. You'll not go far wrong with one of Dolphins Bipods or if David is making any the Shooting Shed bipods are very good also. Alan
  9. My understanding (I might be wrong ...but ) The origins of the Shooters Safety card and HME zeroing etc for MoD ranges dates back to the introduction of the L115 .338 AI rifle to the army when some muppet put a round over the bank into Lightwater.. like I said possibly just jungle telegraph Alan
  10. Jealousy, just jealousy🤣🤣🤣 Alan
  11. I use the basic free Strelok which works well enough for known distances, I believe the more advanced pay for versions have many more options and work well from what I've read.
  12. RPA Quadlock action with 32 inch 1/9 twist Bartlein barrel, chambered in straight .284Win which has has exactly 400 rounds down it, it also has a 20MOA rail fitted. Throated for 180gn Berger Hybrids which using the now un-obtainable 4831SC it shot groups of sub 1/2 MOA.Sits in a blue System Gemini bench rest stock (which I don't think can be bought now) with Shooting Shed front and rear bag riders .I have 180 cases which are necked up Lapua 6.5x284, these have been neck turned and are good to go complete with Redding Type S bushing neck die set with correct bushing (.312).I had bought the action from another shooter and Mik Mak at Dolphin built the rifle for me in 2012 when I had aspirations of F-Open, sadly circumstances changed so it's been a proper cabinet queen only selling as I don't use it and shooting interests have changed. There is also a Shooting Shed cleaning rod guide and Tan coloured AiM60 Drag bag to complete the package.I would prefer face to face sale, but could RFD at buyers cost.£1900 seems a fair price but happy to haggle for a genuine buyer. Could also do a part swap for a good quality .22 Semi-Auto AR.Alan advertised elsewhere
