  1. I wish the two would just merge and have done!😀
  2. Just noticed that ODRC shots are now hidden in the members page as per FCSA website. I have emailed ODRC to ask how FCSA members can get sight of ODRC shoots going forward. Its important to me to see what is coming up at Warminster and Rogiet Moor
  3. Or a Tier one canted mount...very good kit ....not cheap though!
  4. Or a Tier one canted mount...very good kit ....not cheap though!
  5. I read that as being restricted to military and LE... am I wrong?
  6. Vince Agreed....but I prefer to see it done and ask the obvious silly questions as we go.😀
  7. I shoot 6mm SLR / 115g DTACs....... about as accurate as it gets and reforming cases from 234 win (winchester brand) is a cinch.
  8. I am ok with general stuff like fitting rails and scope mounts, taking actions in / out of stocks, taking AR and remmy-style bolts apart etc etc but would like to learn more about assembly of triggers, action bedding and the more generally intricate stuff. I am not really looking at chambering or things which require serious lathe knowledge and access ....this is purely for my own satisfaction and not aiming at any sort of business setup. I have done the usual Google thing but can only find things aimed at military or police...ie civvies banned. Am I seeking unicorns or is there anything out there?
  9. Is the ban on taking cars to the point new? Was not a problem last time I shot.
  10. Warminster IR2 range 900 metres. Nice range ....shot there often with ODRC / FCSA
  11. Its pretty obvious that the more parts you want painted then the more it will cost. However there is no way you reach the cost of the rifle unless its a rat-cheap goner! Talk to Dave Wylde or Chris Hunt for a fair price and grade A job.
  12. I have rifles painted by both Dave and Chris. After many years of quite hard use the paint has stayed where it was put....... testiment enough to both I think? 😀
  13. Listen to Dave..... everything bang-on and to the point. Could not have put it better. Its as clear as 'if you don't learn from history then..... you know what comes next' !
  14. My setup is similar. I got my 1066 aimer yesterday....perfect!
  15. Brown Dog......... +1 on your post..bigtime!
  16. Exactly! Add to that economic ruin. The so-called renationalisation costs have been shown to be 5 x the £200 billion that Labour claim..... which is eye-watering in itself! Must have used Diane Abbots abacus!
  17. There is a LOT more to worry about with comrade Corbyn than just taking our guns away.
  18. Choose the one which promotes growth and vigour and that smells the least!
  19. 1066 is correct about the ludicrous european constraints on power output but its claimed that this only reduces the tracking range (mine usually tracks out to 50 yards) rather than affecting MV measurement and detection...... makes you wonder though!
  20. Good idea....I use a length of ally tube to sight through although I do have to tape it on each time! You may have a market for yours if it fits easily.
