Kipper Posted September 16, 2019 Report Share Posted September 16, 2019 On a 24' 1/10 308.. Which seems to get the vote for 500yrds and 800 max 168 smk 175 smk 190 smk. Or variants off.. I'm currently using 155 scenars but I cant get them up too over 2900fps. Been suggested to try a heavy bullet that will get up to speed for its best BC results. Any experience??? At least try the bc data in a ballistic calc. I know there popular and like the sound off the hybrid but cant see me getting any better MV out off them compared to the scenar. Guys running the 30" barrel are all back using the 155 Berger as there getting them flying with less drop and drift than the heavier bullets but online research is telling me to go heavier and slower as I'm only getting 2800fps and I'm up at 45.5 n140 already Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
