I'm still feeling the love for the DTA and March FX.....rifle and scope were excellent but I shot like a tw*t. Some pics

 

400m cold bore shot on white steel target.....crawl under the truck, find the target and one shot.

CoF changes each year but its a 2 day event about 60 rounds targets from 10m to 500m. This year stiing. sitting supportred, standing supported, kneeling and prone, no sighters.

Those pics remind me how much I miss that comp, was excellent fun in 2012 and other years.

 

 

 

Strangely, if you search under CZ Comp, you should find a write up of the 2012 comp

The sitting unsupported definitely takes practise but I think the close precision shots are the real mind benders.

Looks like a great competition again. Did the usual teams win?

Bradders,

 

The centre zone for the 500m target was 10cm, ......and it made a big difference this year, as a rough guide about 3/4 moa is A zone.....but it is not really about that, time restrictions, hostage id, position shooting skills and wind reading......there is no set COF to practice as such. Send me a pm and I will send you an invite for the mil comp 25-30th September......best way is to give it a go.

 

MJR, Russians, Slovaks did well also

Now that could be interesting as I'd like to see how these things are run.

 

It might also give me an incentive to finally work up some loads for the .260 Ack :-)
