brown dog
Another pic. "Concurrent Activity". There are 4 different parts to 2 seperate stands going on simultaneously here: Grew to rather like the handling of these; even if they are cack-handed:

brown dog
Just had this thread pointed out in a side-chat; with all the Johnny-come-lately precision rifle shenanigans going on today .... You wouldn't think, listening to some of the narrative, that a decade ago this sort of stuff was already happening... ego-less, expert and fun.... It's a funny old game. Ronin
I believe “we” (the site) were arrranging such gatherings back in late 2008 to begin with shooting ateel It was indeed fun back then and still is now No one “owned” the idea and I recall no egos or elitism It would be good to return to those halcyon days
John MH
Would be good.
ds1
How time flies. In context of the international bit it was 2007 when I first started inviting people over to CZ to compete and 2008 when 7 people from this site came over. Still happens. Scrumbag
If anyone felt like running this again I'd happily sign up (or could look into Chobham Ridge at Bisley)
Roy W
The problem with Chobham is only one shooter at a time, stop for half an hour to let Stickledown markers out, each shooter ends up with approx 42 minutes each to prove zero and shoot. And all for about £100 each

Scotch_egg
We had a great day Barry and my first experience of shooting steel targets. I was using a single shot 6mmbr. Really in the ethos of run what you have got. It wasnt the arms race it is now. The steel shooting we see now days has such specialised kit, you would never want to use the rifle for anything else. Much like you wouldn’t take an F class rifle out deer stalking or foxing, you wouldn’t with a rifle that would get you finishing a stage on a PRS stage. John MH
Its all Shiny Shirts with as may logos as you can you can find space to put them, not a problem for some of the very large competitors 🤪
