Anyone else get thiers, what do you think of it?
-
My V4 arrived on Monday and today was the first time I've had a chance to play with it.
My first thoughts are that it is definitely an improvement over the V3 Throw and Trickler. It has a smaller footprint as now the slow trickler is combined and sits atop of the FZi.
The adjustment of flow rates is easy with the App, the calibration feature sets the optimal flow rates for the large and small tubes and these can be further refined. The App tells you what the flow rate is and you can adjust for either greater speed or accuracy; the set point will be a compromise. You can also adjust the transition weight from large tube to small tube.
Adam recommends that anything that is +/- 0.02 of a grain of your target weight is more than acceptable (0.02 grains is about one kernel of powder). -

Mine is in its way. Did customs duty rules change with the seller now being responsible for duty/it has to be paid before shipping ?
Don’t believe so.

Arrived, no charges yet.

On the way to Exeter, left Stanstead last night.

I’m surprised I’ve not yet had notification of any Duty and VAT Charges yet as it’s due to be delivered tomorrow.
-
Were they shipped UPS?

I’ve had mine 10 days now. Love it. First Autotrickler I’ve had so nothing to compare against but so far so good.
Are you in the UK?

good afternoon ,i am led to believe that if the rifle is stamped 556,it can be 556 or a wild chamber so you can use nato ammo etc if its stamped 223 you can not. hope this helps. < that being said my cz527 is cip proofed for nato/556 ammo but is stamped .223rem! >
You have been misled.

Bit of a shame there isn't a 'custom' British action maker. Defiance / Bighorn-level quality for £750 without importing and duties inflating the cost? Yes please!
Maybe with the ever-increasing popularity of PRS-style shooting there might be more of a market than there was say 5 - 10 years ago for those aforementioned British-made actions?
PRS is not ever-increasing despite what you might see on social media.

Boil the pins in hot soapy water and rinse with clean hot water, that should ‘degrease’ them.
-
No problem, I hope you have a good turn out.

This is the 'Result' Forum BTW.

Yes
The App will detect whether connected to a V3 or a V4, you can only connect to one at a time.
