We have a few WSM in our club, I may ask for a few round to test out to see the recoil in hand.

Has anyone used 300WM for Fopen ? I have a slot and considering it and passing my FTR rifle on to my son. I know 300WSM is common so maybe a variation is needed instead.

I had a howa 1500 SA in it, came with a 308 mag, when u put a 223 in instead is when I found the difficultly finding another mag. Was a good stock tbh except the built in bipod legs where garbage, not sure if the one your looking at has them

I had an archangel stock, mags were a bugger to get and had to get brownells to import me one eventually.

I also agree, don't waste cash on a 223. I got my 12yr old son a 223 last year and he's already shooting my 308. Sightron are awesome, I sold my NF comp to fund a S3 and other parts and don't miss my NF except the reticle.

I used Geoff as Liquid Steel Designs outside Preston a while back for my NF and he did a top job. Was £50 + P&P iirc.

Bullseye was on sale 50% off so grabbed a tub

I use Petes WM 185gr in my FTR . I tested them against scenars when I got the first batch and there more consistant in weight and length than the factory produced scenars and cheaper.

I'm currently using 2400 at 18gr with a 240gr lead bullet but need a lighter load for 25yard gallery shooting. What's everyone using ? Unique and red dot is avalible with ease locally to me.

Is it for Fclass Simon fox is your man if so. They stock various ear sizes etc of sebs rear bags and price can't be beat. Start at £60 and go up to £168 empty but also sells the sand. Ear size is important (measure your rider) and come in low or high depending on your preference.
