  1. The other day I came home and gun was wet.. Took the bolt out and stood up the 22 muzzle down too dry in the airing cupboard.. It was in there 2 days 😳. Hid the bolt in there too and I didn't decock the bolt so this maybe why I was experiencing even more light strikes than before.. Probaly my bad 🙄. I have left it in the airing cupboard a few times overnight and did the same then and didn't decock the bolt.. Always wiped off the bolt and put in my safe before the other day..!!
  2. Used all the hash marks and I was aiming center inbetween top of the bottom post and the first hash up. It was easier too see the white circle aiming just to the right at 3 o'clock not shading half of the circle which pretty much blanked it off. The bal cal said 24.5 moa.. Almost right 👍
  3. I haven't kept any. Might be light strikes..!! Had the bolt apart.. Wiped it off and lightly greased the moving parts. (Smeared some ) Firing pin end looked OK.. Not really sure what it's ment too look like.. Do I need a new spring or is there an upgraded spring..?? I did try stretching it but it's pretty firm. Placed an order for a new more powerful spring..
  4. Aimed at 3 o'clock as they were drifting left on previous group. First shot went exactly where I aimed..
  5. 7 shot group.. I had trouble with the match not firing again.. I'll clean the bolt later. I think the high shot was a case I tried firing 3 times.. This one was a loud cracker
  6. Cracking start at 200yds.. Tailwind that's moving.. Timed it perfect for the first group 😳😊
  7. Interesting.. Strange the supersonic speed gets less at lower temps.. I didn't realise that.. Out again at the mo.. Had 2 again that took 2 firings too shoot and several crackers.. Breezy out today.. The groups opened up with the match
  8. The likelihood is the expensive ammo like tenex and centre x will shoot the best.. The R50 etc is very good apparently.. Only want too use so subsonic ammo.. Not really sure when I get the crackers I get slight elevation changes.. Can't see the bullet holes in the black backer target too well.. I can see a hole forming after several shots.. The misfires are annoying..
  9. That scope is FFP.. Only want a SFP 👍
  10. My CZ452 gets quite a few crackers with eley match.. I get the odd one that doesn't fire.. Had 2 today.. One shot on the second time.. Another one i tried 3 times and it didn't fire.. Move the round around so the firing pin hits in a different spot.. Never had many not go off until I used eley match.
  11. Easier said than done.. What ammo in your vudoo.. I'm out myself at the mo.. Good old eley match on the right.. Left 42gr winnie subs 5 shot groups at 50yds
  12. I have 2 x s111 32 mag sightrons on 2 centrefire rifle and I think there great.. I'm liking that scope.. Keep em coming 🎅
  13. I'm looking for a good all round scope for my 22lr, hunting and longish range plinking.. I want a minimum of 16 mag.. A max of 24.. Side focus.. Parallax 10yds ish too infinity. Currently run a leupold fx freedom rimfire reticle scope.. Its a very good scope but 9 mag isnt enough for longrange precision for me Price not fixed at the mo. Thoughts please NID
  14. Hi Terry. Thanks for your input.. I know some of the names on the scorecards.. I know of Paul Russel I see him at gbfca league matches as I do Chris Hazelhurst who I know much better. Had a pint or 2 in London middlesex with him and a mate.. My next thing is a higher mag scope for better precision.. I've been threatening this for about a year again because I use my 22 more in the winter and I'm using it again most weekends.. Too shoot 200yds I was holding over I think about 25 mins.. Used every hash on the leupold fx freedom 22lr moa reticle if my memory serves me right..
  15. Some nice groups there 👌 I'll respray my AR500 target and try some more 200yds groups over xmas
  16. I'm well happy with my just over 1 inch group at 200yds then 😛. He was shooting from a rock steady posistion 😄
  17. F class John has a new video on YouTube showing his recent benchrest match with his 22lr Rimex at 50yds practicing and then at 100yds in the comp.. Looks too be an inch or less groups at 100yds.. I guess he's using the ammo his rifle likes best.
