  7. Hi folks, I've got a job lot of used MTM and other ammo boxes for sale. 64 boxes in total, mostly 38/357, a few 9mm, a few larger pistol calibers, a few 308 sized. £95 inc postage, there's a large box full. Thanks.
  8. Surplus to requirements now that the rifle has gone. 3 x Ruger .17 HMR / .22 Mag magazines for the 77. Hardly used, almost like new. £22 each inc postage. Thanks.
  9. Back to the Lee factory crimp, I use one on pretty much all of my loads. Once I'd worked up an accurate load for a particular round, I'd load 10 with a crimp and ten without and put them over the chrono for my strelok data. Each time the ES was reduced to some degree with the factory crimp. I'm not a world class Fclass shooter, don't turn necks etc, but for my basic loading routine it works for me.
  10. Hi Folks, I have some new 7.62x53r Lapua brass which needs to be 54r. When loading this to form the shoulder forward, what would be the best way to go? A normal weight bullet for my usual load with a start charge or a lighter bullet with a faster powder. Would it matter. I welcome any thoughts or advice. Thanks.
  11. Martin, I've been using these from Brownells for getting the shoulder bump where I want it. Find the shoulder angle and a 30 cal one to suit and you will have something to measure with. As Terry says above, the 7.5x55 can be critical with the shoulder regarding a click and no bang. Used to happen to me. I'd go with his recommendations. I always sized the case, turned it 90 degerees and went again. It's what worked for me. https://www.brownells.co.uk/SINCLAIR-BUMP-GAGE-INSERT-Standard-Mag-up-to-30-Cal-25-Shoulder-Bump-Gage-Insert-SINCLAIR-INTERNATIONAL-Belted-Magnums-749011485
  12. Accumount steel bolt on scope mount for a Schmidt Rubin K-31. Was on my rifle for about 3 years so has a few light marks, nothing bad. Never had any issues with coming loose etc. Always reliable. £60 inc postage.
  13. Hi Mr roberts, I stand to be corrected, but from what I've read, they did indeed have chrome lined barrels.
  14. 500 x .223 FMJ bullets. Part number B22055 if this means anything to anyone? Not sure of make. Hornady perhaps? Anyway, £50 inc mainland tracked postage.
  15. My rem 700 with a 1:9 twist shoots very well with the 69gr smk over 24hr vhit 140. It will take more but it loves this load. Went out to 600 metres with this load with great results. I also use the 68gr hornadys over 24gr of tac and you could get a fair bit more in there, it settles very well. These are both magazine length loads. Not sure how much further you could go out to with these, bit they performed well and were easy on the brass.
