As new in box. ZBR-1 (#91) reticule, .25 MOA clicks. I bought this for my T3 Super Varmint .223 not long before lockdown. Versa-Pod spigot bipod. I bought this recently but it is too short for my GRS Bifrost stock which has a deep butt section and needs a longer bipod so it is back up for sale.It is is a non-locking “Battle Pack” with spigot to fit AICS female and equivalent (Parker hale etc). Very good condition, three interchangeable feet - rubber end, ski and claw so you can get firm footing on any surface. Legs extend 7-9” measured from centre line of spigot. A CV like that would not impress an employer outside academic and Government circles, but as we know this is the advice that Government decisions are based on. Or should that be "allegedly based on?"

i have recently bought a well used Sightron SIII 10-50x60 that I am using principally for 25yd .22 benchrest and which I would like to be able to use out to 100yds. The scope is, I understand, originally designed for air rifle FT shooting. It will focus very well at high magnifications down to 8m, and is excellent at 25yds where I use it at 30x. It does not, however focus sharply above about 50yds, and then only at about 15X. In an effort to extend the usable range of the scope beyond 50yds I have tried removing and repositioning the focus knob, but this does not extend the focussing distance. I have the impression that there is an operating envelope of focus range that may be adjustable, as at 25 yds the side focus is nearly at it's maximum rotation. I would like to reset the parallax such that it will focus from say 20yds, allow use of of 30 - 40x at 25yds and be useable at about 30x at 100 yds. Can anyone advise me of a workshop in the UK who can reset the parallax of a scope in this way, and also repurge with nitrogen if required?

I would hope that would not be taken flying in that state, that bag of grenades is just waiting for the right moment to slide under and jam the cyclic.

Remove your moderator before putting the rifle away. I learnt the hard way and destroyed a nice old BSA when the crown was corroded away and the rifle was not worth the cost of restoration and proof.

Bump for the start of lockdown easing, let's hope we are starting to see a return to normality. I will be looking for a Tikka T1 in .22 with 20" barrel and possibly a Bifrost stock once normality is reestablished, any interest in a deal?

NOW SOLD Nightforce NXS 12-42 X 56 with illuminated NP-R2 reticule and Nightforce steel mounts. Overall very good condition with only minor marks, has only been used on ranges. Adjustments are crisp and repeatable. Very faint ring mark on underside of tube, not crimped or scratched. Rings are 0.75" from underside of tube to ring base. Complete with bikini lens covers and sunshade although no box. £900 posted UK. Advertised elsewhere.

I have one with a T3 Super Varmint .223 installed. Ergonomically they are a delight, reasonable weight, comfortable and the angled pistol grip is such an obvious design feature I don't know why it has not been done before. The only down side is that the cheek piece adjustment is quite fiddly. The bolt cannot be removed with the cheek piece raised so it has to be lowered and reset each time. This will not be an issue for some users but for range use where the bolt has to come out at the end of every detail it gets tedious. That said I will be buying a T1 and another Bifrost once we can get out again.

Highly recommended, as others have posted above. There are a lot of good books around covering historic aspects of sniping, particularly the work of Martin Pegler who wrote the foreword to this book, but not so much about more recent developments and the work of Accuracy International which are covered in detail. Not a cheap book but worth buying. Get in while there are some left, there were only 2,000 copies printed and mine is number 1313, I assume they are being sold in sequence so my guess is they won't be available for much longer.
