No i deer
What height 30mm picattiny rings would I need to fit on a remmy action with a Armalon 20 moa rail with an S111 sightron 8-32x56 with a 1.250 to 0.900 at the muzzle barrel..?? I thought there must be lots of shooters with this combo and the easiest way to pre-order some rings. Cheers NID
srvet
I used a Tier one rail and medium tier one rings. Some rails (like Farrell) are quite thick and can add significant height
No i deer
I'm aiming to keep the scope as close to the barrel as i can..
Woodlander
You may get away with Tier One low rings. I have them on a varmint barreled Sako 75 with the same scope. Doesn’t give enough room for lens caps though, just over 1.5mm.

palo
Any chance you could borrow a set of rings of someone to try first. That would give you an idea of what height you need. A lot of the rails are different heights so it's hard to recommend something.
No i deer
Hi Palo. Yes that maybe possible. I'd not thought of that 👍
Ronin
Rough but works for me place piece of card on barrel at point objective will be and lay objective on card and with a small level and assistance then measure the distance from top of action (or picatinny ) to base of tube (when level) that should give I the ring height required
