New year's eve Tikka.

Recommended Posts

Last gun of 2014 and it was starting to get dark...

This is a left handed Tikka 595.

It's been rebarrelled in 6.5 x 47 Lapua with a Border Archer 1 in 8.5" at 26" long.

14mm x 1 thread and invisible capped to take a Lawrence Titanium moderator.

The bolt has been Barley twist fluted and fitted with one of my bolt handles and knobs.

20 MOA rail, and the whole barrelled action done in Ceracoat Graphite black.

The trigger has been completely stripped, the blade painted and the internals tuned to give a safe 8 oz release.

The stock is one of the lovely GRS models in left hand, and I always love working/bedding these as the bedding is almost invisible due to the greys in the stock. Very well made with accurate inletting. It makes bedding a simple task.

Nice one Dave

Is that one of your rails?

No its an EGW one modified , and supplied by the customer.

No idea on the stock weight Terry, they are about average I would guess. Laminate is never light.
