DaveT
FLS every time and set back @ .003" is the advice I have from Baldie. Lapua brass great but spendy....GGG brass seems good. SMK 77g with 24.5g N140 seems to be a standard go-to load....usual caveats.
farmer7
Whilst I believe best practice is to full length size every time I dont personally and haven't had any extraction issues whatsoever. I use a Lee collet die to neck size everytime and run them through a redding body die every second firing. If i was shooting comps I would probably full length size for piece of mind. I'm sure it would suck in competition if you did get a stuck case from not sizing properly! Powder wise I use N140 since Varget got harder to get and actually prefer it and get better results with it too.
Andrew
Buy a small base sizing die.~Andrew
Mattnall
Whilst I believe best practice is to full length size every time I dont personally and haven't had any extraction issues whatsoever. I FLS mainly because the rounds have to be used in more than one rifle. Otherwise I may only neck size.
