PSSA "A" team , comprising of Ben Salford , Adi Newbury , Dave Wylde and Pete Russel. Won the fifth year on the trot by Diggle, and comprised of 4 runs including the final. Great fun. A truly fantastic week's shooting.
Laurie
Not using your Tubb T2K rifle Dave? Well done - always great to see Diggle members winning things! (All we need now is to hear from Bruce Lenton that the GB Bench Rest team, also mainly Diggle types, swept the boards in the European BR Championships this week.) Shuggy
Interesting to see the Brits now all using the new Lightweight Day Sight. Obviously the Omanis shot very well with their AUGs, but were you able to judge how the SA80s performed compared to the Diemacos and tricked-out M4s? I don't have all the scores and any comparison would probably be unfair
aam
bradders, Great pics, thank you for posting. If you don't mind me asking, with the civvie side of shooting. How did the blokes with bolt guns fare compared to the straight pull on the AR-15'S ? Any advantages or disadvantages between the two? Also were there any Aussie's present at the competition ( Military )

Also were there any Aussie's present at the competition ( Military ) No Aussies this year. The only advantage any of the bolt guns possess is in the calibres available to them, and then it really only is marginal. While the top score in Practical Optic was shot with an aX in .260 Rem, the top score once again was shot by an AR in .

Shuggy
Is it my eyesight, re the military medal winners being carried aloft - does muzzle awareness/manners not apply ? Thanks Having spent 6 months alongside military who were carrying guns, I can assure you that they have absolutely zero muzzle awareness. After a week I learnt to stop cringing. It seems that they place a lot of faith in the NSP (normal safety procedure). I think that it is a 7-point check to prove that the thing really is empty.
