Offroad Gary
Just got this back from the chop shop this morning, now 20" instead of 24" to make it handle better in the woods. Also fitted the 10x42 "Ai" pm2, now just need to get out and christen it! Today is going to be a long day at work! The work was excellent as expected. Thanks. Offroad Gary
Lovely stalking rifle now then, what deer do you have on your patch Gary Roe, muntjac and fallow, in woodland, arable and downland. Shots range from 20m upwards. Rifle was built as requested, but arrival of the AI AE changed my needs along with lease with a lot more proper woodland, hence the requirement for shorter barrel, friend has similar spec and 20" velocity was less than 100 fps lower than 24" barrel. Measurements to front of action, its 21.18" to bolt face. Shot 2 rounds last night for rough zero at 35m in garden, feels nice.

Offroad Gary
Very nice Gary what mod is that? Third eye spartan, same as that one on the grubby sako deluxe you've seen! Rifles are now very similar, think mine has slightly heavier barrel, which might explain its better accuracy? Or is it me or was the builder better, who knows for sure?? Still havent seen a picture of yours yet!
Tuck
I can't do photos on here I'm useless! I'm still breaking barrel in! But I'm well chuffed with it!

Offroad Gary
Liking the stubby rifle so much, decided to take little offroad gary for his first stalk, saw fallow, roe, muntjac and foxes/cubs. Spotted this munty 600m away, drove 300, stalked 200 for a 100m bipod shot. Fantastic experience
Majormalfunction
Hi, Thought I'd use my first post on the site to say that your rifle looks glorious! There is definitely something about that green stock, and I covet it badly! Tom
