  1. Has this only been sent to NRA members John?
  2. Opened sort of ok on iPad. Formatting looked a bit strange in places but apart from that no issues.
  3. I used a Nightforce NXS 5-22 on my .338 in the 3 ring sako mount. Second focal plain but I used it on max Mag so no issue with the reticle being correct. If I was doing it again I'm not sure what scope I'd have, probably a NF ATACR but I'd go for the spuhr mount.
  4. I used N570 with 250gn Scenars, Never tried the 300's as 250's did what I needed. I did try RE25 with the 250's but couldn't get anywhere near the accuracy or velocity I could with the N570.
  5. I won't be making the trip to Bisley yet but our club is awaiting the release of the NRA documents as they've suggested to our secretary. So hopefully we should have a shoot next weekend.
  6. Our range has enough space to enable a 2m separation between shooters on the firing points and in the butts. It will mean having smaller details of shooters per time and swapping details more often but I'm sure we can cope with that if we can get out. My 2p worth is that if we can maintain distancing and contact hygiene on things like radios then we might be able to get going. Just my wishful thinking though. I know my golf club has a lot of areas where 2m distancing will be harder to maintain than the range does.
  7. It's from before the twist rate changed so I believe it's a 11.
  8. Price drop, complete package as listed above £1200 Everything listed in the first post except the scope £800
  9. Price drop, Rifle, case and scope mount £2500ovno Rifle and case £2300 ovno
  10. Lovely piece of kit wasn't it? I went out with the range warden one morning when we shot at Charlie High to put a gong out. He would only take me to the track that crossed the range at 1k. He said we couldn't go any further because the area between that and the base of the hill had to be cleared before entering due to it being the main impact area and possibly had unexploded ordnance in it. I'm not sure if that's still the case or if he just didn't want to go any further that morning. It must be cleared at times to allow for maintainence so that would be the time to enter.
  11. We have a member at our club with a .375 cheytac improved who shoots at Orion and joined eskdalemuir just before things kicked off up there. I'm sure he'd be interested in a U.K. event. There's also a chap I'm aware of who has the gear for that and is involved in the new works at eskdalemuir. Almost makes me wish I'd not sold the Cheytac action I had or even 99% of the gear to go with my .338 now.
  12. Open to offers or a part exchange for a good target scope in MOA or Mils such as kahles, nightforce etc.
  13. Sorry slightly off topic but out of pure coincidence I've had the course of fire from that in the front pocket of my range mat since then, during the enforced tidying up period we're in I've just cleared it out. I was flicking through just thinking how good that was and how I'd like to try something similar again one day.
  14. Rifle is now back with me so I've posted some update pictures above.
