  1. Completion date received so in preparation I have purchased some plinking ammo and loaded some testers. 62grn federal 80grn eld match in starline brass with n140. (seating depth to be sorted when I get my hands on the rifle)
  2. I was advised the barrels where good value and from a British company. Leaving barrel bead blasted for now but could refinish later on. I hope to keep updating post with load dev when I get the rifle.

  6. Good news. The barrel has arrived at the engineers and I have manged to get a bag rider fabricated for the Onyx chassis. Not long now. Can't wait

  8. I was just wonder what bush size I need for my Redding type s die. I want to use a Sinclair .307 Expander Mandrel on 308 lapua palma cases? I have a .337 bush and was wondering if this would be ok. I just wanted to know so I don't have to pay for postage twice if I order the Expander Mandrel and bush. Thanks

  12. I found 2 bullets for my howa 1500 6.5cm. 43.8gr rs62 with Lapua scenar 139gr or Hornady 140gr eld match. Both around 2800fps and equally as accurate when 0.020 off the lands
  13. After many hours of research, deliberation and cogitation I have managed to find an action for my .223 build. I hope to use the rifle for 300,600 and 800, 1000 when the conditions allow. Action has been delivered to my rfd and the barrel is on order. The waiting game begins!! (could be a long wait but in or around Christmas would be nice) Barrel spec Sassen button rifle 28" screw cut 1-7 ( I want to use the heavy Berger bullets) Throat to suit long bullets More build info to come
