Yes you can, but it usually costs a fair bit.

I used to have shotgun cartridges sent in bulk via the post. Generally only work out if doing in bulk. But some sellers don’t want to deal with the hassle so won’t offer it as an option.

Its excellent, no bother priming 200x cases in one go - easy peasy!

Interesting. Mine wears a PMII 5-25x56, FFP, DT, Illuminated with H2CMR reticle all in a SPUHR 20MOA mount. Wasn’t planning to sell the scope and mount, but may be tempted as a package. All told that would easily hit the £7k mark.

Use Geoff Kolbe of Border Ballistic  Technologies (BBT). His reamers are excellent. I’ve had a few made by him and the chambers are excellent.

I’m considering selling my AI AWSM in .300wm.

Built 2017, original AW spec, folding thumbhole stock.

These aren’t made anymore and the AW in .300wm is a very rare beast, most of the AWSM being made in .388LM.

Includes original AI Bipod and picatinny rail.

Extras include; AI foresight, AI two port threaded tactical muzzle brake, MAE steel Bushless Compact moddy with adjustable Cole-Tac moddy cover, AI stockspacers to lengthen LOP.

@Laurie - do you still favour N165 in the .284w after all your extensive testing?

And what’s your final opinion on Lovex SO70? I’ve got a number of tubs which I use for .300wm and 30-06. Ive found its a very stable powder, very forgiving on showing pressure and seems to give both good groups and low ES/SD. But the velocity is significantly on low side. 
I’d be interested to try SO70 when I have a .284w barrel spun up. It’ll likely be your standard 32” 1.25” straight, 1-9” (or 1-8”) twist, throated for 180 Scenar Ls, using straight .284w Lapua brass. I’m just not sure if SO70 will be too slow?!?

@No i deer - interesting and helpful reports with photos. Do you find with the shorter barrel that N160, being a tad faster, is a better alternative than  the slower burning powders?

@Pat Allen Many thanks for that. I assume you are getting the accuracy, despite Brillo’s experience? What barrel length, twist and bullet are you shooting if you don’t mind me asking?

I did check around in the U.K. but no one was stocking a zero press, let alone an extra turret and lock rings etc.

You are right, if there was a stockiest, costs would have been an extra £200-£300 on what I paid I’m sure.

Ive imported numerous rifles, chambered barrels and other firearms bits from the US before. I’m well versed in much of the paperwork. Mind you Parcelforce made that easier.

I do think what didn’t help was Area 419’s branding, with a great big Rifle image on their invoice sheet which gets attached to shipment. Clearly the people at UPS freaked out when they saw it and started to raise questions.

Just pretty poor tbh. Phone calls out of the blue, difficult to hear the messages. Just a pain.

I too bought the same bag for lumping various bits of stuff (rear bags, ammo, torx wrench, kestrel etc etc). I use it in addition to the AIM bags I use…which are very helpful (especially using backpack straps).

The above fishing bag I bought off Amazon I think. 
its been really good, especially when it rains as the central compartment stays dry inside. 
But I’ve found the zip recently went. I think I just overloaded it. 
my next purchase will be a 4x wheel folding trolly/buggy. Easier on the shoulders of carrying two rifles plus mat plus range bag etc etc. 

When making .44mag loads, I loose the Autothrow off the top of the A&D scale and simply use the Autotrickler unit.

I actually do a small manual scoop of powder (shotgun), dump into a metal cup, place on scale, wait for Autotrickler to finish, dump powder into case.

Ive done it before using a Redding manual trickler and the A&D scale. Works fine. 

I recently purchased a ZERO press and various related gubbins from Area 419, which should arrive shortly.

However, I’ve had a bunch of muppets from UPS brokerage (East Midlands Airport) phoning and emailing me asking for details of the firearm or firearms components I’m importing.

Ive made it clear none of the items are firearms components, and need no declaration.

I think it’ll be opened by Customs, who will see everything is fine and as described by me.

Has anyone else experienced the tomfoolery that is UPS East Midlands?

Don’t bother with the thumbhole.

My AW long action (.300wm) is terribly uncomfortable. The grip is small in the hand and with the thumbhole, slightly awkward to grip. I once had a manners thumbhole and that was a far more ergonomic design.

I much prefer the MPA competition chassis on my Impact 737…waaay more comfortable than the AI.

Ronin’s point about the ATX probably makes sense given it’s more a vertical grip.

I agree with the principal of one platform with multi cals.

I have a custom Defiance LA tube action and also Impact 737 repeater, both with a clutch of barrels & bolts of various sizes to change to several LA, SA and magnum calibres.

Agree with the post regarding zero for one cal, then note setting and the note difference with other caks. Erik Cortina did a useful video on this a few years ago. Simple enough.

But…you don’t need an AT or AX to do this. Any rifle with properly chambered barrels will suffice. You will still need a barrel vice to spin a barrel off and a torque wrench to get the new barrel on to a consistent value…to maintain zero repeatability. Benchrest shooters have been doing this for donkeys years. You don’t need a ‘quick change’ barrel system…it’s actually not truly quick change if the barrel is torqued down (as it should be) and need removing with a barrel vice. 
I think some people bang on about the quick change system when the reality is it doesn’t add anything in reality imo.
