Selling this combo due to my rifle being sold. Scope was purchased new by me and has had a total of 3 bench rest outings and the condition shows, the Tier One saddle is also in good used condition. Due to concentrating more on my rimfire bench rest I'm selling my Tikka Sporter. It's in excellent condition, never used for field work, always benched, has only had around 700 rounds through it. Right handed adjustable stock. Located in Warwickshire but will happily do RFD to RFD transfer. Super accurate rifle. Scope is not included in the sale, bare rifle only. Price is £1250.

Luckily mine was in stock with Bagnall & Kirkwood and the price was much cheaper then they're currently stocked at, my mate had to wait for his and when he got it from the UK supplier it worked out well over a hundred quid more than mine.

I have to agree to the XRS being a great chassis and fantastic upgrade to my MTR. Regarding the chassis in the link above, does anyone know how much they are for the 457 as I can't see a price on their site?

Out of curiosity, why are you swapping over to the XRS? Don't get me wrong, I have my 457 MTR in a XRS and it's excellent but that seems like a decent chassis to be selling to make way for a XRS?

Can anyone recommend products needed for cleaning the barrel on my CF's? I have a one piece rod already for my rimfires so I'm guessing i'm going to need to stock up on calibre specific patches, bronze brushes, jags etc? Does anyone do I decent kit (not parker hale) and where is a good place to look online, or will I have to buy separate products...cheers

Luckily for me I managed to get my medical cert from my GP in under 2 weeks, my mate however got caught out and had to store his rifles and shotgun for a couple of weeks whilst chasing his GP, we're both in the same authority but different GP surgeries.

I had the X7 and the scope felt very well made, it presented well but ..and for me it was a big but, at full mag (25), there was so much CA that I sent it back. To some this wouldn't be an issue but I couldn't get past it.

A 30mm tier one monomount ?
