I managed to crack the screen on my - palm tungsten C - PDA. yesterday The screen is knackered , so I was hoping someone on here might know 1) if the screen can be replaced - and if so , who does this work. 2) If not - can i get the exbal programme off it. 3) If its fecked ... where I can get a replacement PDA cheaply - just for running exbal. Millwall Paul
Alan It may be possible to replace the screen without too much fuss yourself have a look on youtube and there are several videos telling you how to replace the screens with a video to help. Ebay also has new screens for sale for them as well. I don't know if this will help you or not. But this is how I've repaired them in the past when I've cracked the screens. varmartin
Of cause..any CD`s that are sent through the post will be originals only as we all know the issues with ` counterfeit` goods ... chester
Alan Ammunition data for your rounds is stored separately in the PDA memory (or at least mine is), so you should still be able to extract it via your pc, see if you can find the instructions on how to take a back up from your PDA, got to be easier than starting a fresh, seeing as your data is spot on Mark

Browndogs chart might be the way to go. .. but I will have a bash at salvaging this PDA first. I have tried to find a replacement screen for mine - not been able to locate one this side of the Atlantic ATB Alan

I have seen one and watched Glen ( trigger2) use it - very successfully. It looks good system and I have read the reveiws on here with interest... though the one glen had was a little large The size of an A3 page thereabouts.... a smaller pocket sized version may interest me. which is one the reasons I like the PDA or my own drop sheets..... all the info and pockets sized. baldie
BD sends the completed card to you in a pdf file Alan, so you can make it whatever size you wish. I think most folk go with a6 which is small....too small for my eyes these days. I made mine a5 and they go nicely in my databook....laminated, and rung bound....excellent. Surely that's a typo? That must be like opening a map in the wind! Glen, you must have started wearing glasses like a japanese sniper to need it printed that big! SirSAL Read the link: http://ukvarminting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8226[/b][/color] Look at the pics: They show, with a few items for scale, the double sided A6 card in a field notebook: No detailed vids of the card please!
