Ronin
Ok its Warcop with the FCSA Uk on sat 17th Oct. Its a guest day. Assuming its on, who's going? There are quite a few FCSA UK members on here - AJW, Shrek, Zaitsev, SeanC, Ratwiskers and me. Ive already a couple of people in mind, - Baldie and Flatnm, anyone else from the site? I'm on nights but will make a special effort to be there early. Calibres - up to and including .50 Range - out to 3000 mtrs. Nearest targets are circa 400 mtrs. It gets interesting at 900 and beyond You will need some cash for range fee (usually a tenner) and your FAC and if you have it MIL/ HME range aproval card. If you havent you just shoot "in company" Its pretty crap if the weather is bad so you need appropriate clothing, but enjoyable nevertheless

Ronin
Forgot to add to the initial post, for those who havent been there are a variety of targets: Tanks, Landrovers, various Fig 11's (some are reactive some not) There are also reactive tank targets if they are on. Rocks, steel plates and mud splashes. You will need a spotter or spotting scope - there are plenty of guys there who will spot for u. There will be plenty of opportunity to shoot fifties (if that floats yer boat) BRING EAR PROTECTION..... This is a field firing range - you cannot walk out and inspect youre groups (well I guess you could, but you wouldnt come back ) Ammo count; as much as you want to shoot, usualy 30 -100 rounds per calibre?? Anyone think of anything ive ommitted, please chip in.

ajw
I'm starting to miss warcop. It seams like far to long since I've made an appearance. Well, once again I wont be able to make it Hopefully I'll be able to blow the rust out off some barrels in November when things will be slowing down a bit. Have fun guys and gals. Ronin
Viking Arms sell Lapua - the 250g Lockbase load is fine. You can buy RUAG direct from RUAG but its spendy. Peter Lawman sells 338 ammo. So does Graham at Sporting Services. Bernie at UK Gun Room may be there, he is making his own 338 commercially (FOI, API and normal target stuff)
