Catch-22 Posted October 17, 2023 Report Share Posted October 17, 2023 I shoot the .338 Norma Magnum…only 6% less case capacity than .338LM. I use RS80 with 300gn Scenars. It’s an excellent powder, very accurate loads, easy to achieve consistently tiny SDs and has a nice recoil impulse. It is double based but I’d say a relatively mild double base, around 3,800joules, so shouldn’t destroy throats as badly as the N5xx series of powders which do kane barrels.
