John MH
Show us how you have set up your Shotmarker System. This one fits in the back of my Nissan Navara. Can be set at 12 Inches off the deck or 4 Feet off on a Steel Target Company HD Target Stand.
jcampbellsmith
My Silver Mountain board has two slim posts behind it. Where I shoot is usually wet enough just to stab the whole board into the ground. The sockets and microphones are labelled up with the cable colours. Since taking this photo I've moved the antenna to the top left of the board. Regards JCS
ds1
Slightly off topic but just picked up a Longshot / Target Vision system. This is the one mile version. If it does what it says on the can - multiple shooters, different colours for each shooter, shot sequence and group size I will be a happy camper. Do you know of any issues Landmarc or MOD might have with bringing our own target frames and shot marker sensors pre installed? John MH
Not sure if they would but if they did I would suggest that the Butts are cleared of personnel so if a Sensor or Hub is hit then no one gets fragged.
Ronin
How far do these things work to and is there a maximum dimension for target frame (obviously you don’t want to be in a position that you spiral staircase a sensor )
John MH
Furthest I've used mine is 650 yards but should be good out to 1000 yds, no maximum for frame size quoted in manual and I've seen some that were at least 8' x 8'.
