shot some 400yd groups with the PH 308 last night::-)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

after a bit of a chronoing sesion with a couple of lads of here i wanted to recheck my drop at 400yds with my slightly redused VIT150 load!

anyways i fired two groups one with the old load & one with the new!

the old load was the larger at about .8 of an inch :D

i was a few mile an hour out on the wind but elvation was pretty good:-)

Never mind the UKV shoot, you could enter the F Class FTR comps with grouping like that - at 1000 I guess that youre looking at circa 2 inch...

Which is pretty damn good. (V Bull heaven, if you read the wind right)

Excellent shooting skany, you need to get yourself over to the next UKV Challenge shoot buddy :D

If Skany's going I'm staying at home, only kidding, that is fantastic Andy, you must be a very happy man

cheers for the kind words lads :-)

thats the 3rd group ive shot with this rifle at 400 now with the worst being about 1" including cold clean bore shot!

the best thing about shooting those groups as i was with two lads off here when i did it so its nice to be witnesed:-)

i must admit i got quite exited when we drove up to the target as i didnt even know if i was hitting the box from the firing point in fading light!

cheers Andy
