Happy plinker
Hello guys, I have a short barrel straight pull with a barrel with 1 in 8 twist. Could any of you suggest factory ammunition for it. I have been using remington freedom buckets but its like a shotgun blast and no two rounds go the same
Popsbengo
would help to know the cartridge calibre 😉

Happy plinker
😆 my apologies, brain fart. It's
BamBam
1 in 8 wants heavy bullets and those Remington buckets are 55gr. Try some 69-77gr stuff. Hornady do some steel cased 75gr training ammo, but for best results home loading is best.
Happy plinker
Thanks for that, I'll try and source some
ontoproofer
You could try either 69 gr ggg with the Sierra bullet or the Hornady 75 gr eld match which is brilliant but not cheap 😁
Happy plinker
Too be honest I'm struggling to get ammunition here as there isn't many places that sell decent stuff but I'll definitely keep a eye out
