Thank you for letting me know.

Is it a 223 Wylde? That will shoot 5.56 NATO ammo.

I believe it is but I have always put GGG 5.56 through it and it runs really well on it the barrel can also be changed out to take 300blackout it’s a different mag and barrel but same working parts

good afternoon ,i am led to believe that if the rifle is stamped  556,it can be 556 or a wild chamber so you can use nato ammo etc if its stamped 223 you can not. hope this helps. < that being said my cz527 is cip proofed for nato/556 ammo but is stamped .223rem! >

Hi,

Looking at the photos, it’s stamped LM223SP.
Thank you for the insight.

Just taken this from the LMT booklet that came with the rifle about suitable ammo hope it clears this up the first paragraph states that All LMT are Designed and built to specifications to shoot standard factory commercially available NATO compliant ammunition

I’ve had my LMT 223SP for six years and have put 4600 rounds through it as of last Saturday, Over half of it was GGG NATO with no bother at all.

it’s a LMT after all so, as has been said, you’re good to go 😁😄
