How good are these with a rear add on looking for a scope for that purpose.

Great scope but for a rear add on might not work as the lenses are coated and may reduce the nv quality it's not a fault it the high quality lenses I've not used a rear add on myself but have seen reviews telling this story if I was you I would get the lend of one and try before you buy I hope this helps

My mate uses one with a nitesite viper add on, seems to work ok on his.

Got mate uses one with ward 800 with no issues

Mate uses one with a PARD NV007 and it works great

That's a lot of scope for the money - best of luck with the sale
