Akeld
I'm sure there was something on about the home made weapons they were using but can't remember where I saw it, half of them looked like parts were sourced from plumb-centre
MrCetrizine
Looks like a Degtyarov PTRD
BlueBoy69
It's not a PTRD (ПТРД), they look quite different. It's similar to a number of modern Russian weapons, the experimental 12.7 mm SVN-98 (СВН-98), along with the 12.7 mm KSVK (КСВК) and later 12.7 mm ASVK (АСВК) service weapons, but still not the same Most likely a home-made (workshop) jobby using one of the Russian heavy machine gun (HMG) cartridges: 12.7 x 108 or 14.5 x 114 mm. Some similar ones can be found in the links below. http://cjchivers.com/post/93310562286/from-the-workbench-another-workshop-grade https://twitter.com/bafana3/status/689037764847861760

wozar
Think he needs to do some work on his home loads with that amount of muzzle flash ☺

Grum87
I was more impressed by the firing pin/striker. Looks like a nice simple to adjust means of controlling firing pin protrusion. Lovely!
