I'm about to reload 105g a-max for the first time. I like using Vhit N100 powders, anyone had any good results or recommendation?

N150, 160 or 165? I have quickload so can run the numbers through that aftewards but just wanted to know if any of you had any recommendations.

Thanks in anticipation.

Mike

PS. If it makes any difference I've a 21 inch barrel 1:9 twist

Digging into the archive I find I used both 43.0 gr (Lapua cases) and 43.8 gr (Sako cases) of N165 with 105 gr A-Max in my Sako 75.

I see that 43.7 gr is the Hornady book max so I would work up to these numbers.

The numbers above were with a Borders Archer barrel 1:8 twist. The reason I had this barrel fitted is that factory 1:10 twist varmint barrel sent the 105 gr A-Max through the target sideways.

I was reading up the 105 Amax the other day on here , member 6mmBR and one other guy both said they like a 10 thou jump . Im also just started using these in new 6BR , best group so far for me was touching the lands . Good luck with the 9 twist
