baldie
Finally got a barrelled action back from proof after nearly two months. It was a simple rebarrell job for a friend with a lick of paint. He wanted the original tikka heavy profile, which the lads at Sassen made a great job of. Its a 6.5 x .284 and its making a real resurgence in my neck of the woods....the reamer never seems to be off the lathe at the moment. Very popular with the deer fella's. Usual thread and cap for the mod....not a lot to say about it really apart from its a lot lighter than it looks. All metalwork was done in Armour black ceracoat. Swarovski1
Its a mcmillan stock pillar bedded by a well known smith but Its a name I seem to have a mental block on.
baldie
The rings and bases are painted too Gary. The rifle was originally built by Callum and it retains its original Krieger barrel in another calibre. The customer wanted a change.
