Ronin
Finished this today, Left handed Tikka 590, fluted bolt, oversize bolt knob, bolt stripped and lapped to action abutments. Pac Nor 8 twist stainless barrel, finished at 24", threaded and protective cap machined. Chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua. Standard wood stock has been stripped, given new Pachymere pad and painted in shiny black and given several coats of lacquer. Trigger stripped, polished now breaks at reliable and safe 2 lbs with no other modification. Original bottom "metal" and magazine used, but the action is bedded in devcon with pillars and custom made recoil lug. Hope the new owner likes it - I think it looks pretty good. Davy
Nice job, a deep shiny black finish does look rather special. Non standard?

gunner
Very nice indeed , may i ask who did bolt fluting ?
Ronin
The fluting was done by Neil I think, the rifle was purchased as a donor for a specific order I had and came with the fluting already done.
