Ballistol
After many years, I'm coming to the end of a large bottle of both Butch's Bore Shine, and Hoppes no. 9. Not wanting to buy into the advertising hype, what are your recommendations for effective removal of powder fouling and copper. Cheers.
Wildcat69
I use KG. brilliant stuff, and doesn't hurt your barrel. (They say!) products that I mainly use is KG1 carbon remover and KG12 copper remover. I have double check with other products but it seems to leave no copper fouling. Ideally a bore scope would be perfect to see the efficiency of your solvent. But anyway i swear by this stuff, I have tried many different products but this the one is for me. mole-e30
Gary, Try the boretech eliminator copper cleaner, Foxy stocks it badged up as Rifle craft. I used to be a butches man until I tried this, but now firmly convinced and it also gets rid of carbon. Cheers Bruce
dannywayoflife
C2R is the stuff!!!
Chris-NZ
I'm with Wildcat, certainly on the copper side. KG12 is rocket fast at eating copper. Found it a lot better than Eliminator. I think there are plenty of good options on the powder fouling side
