walkabout
I normally dry my cases after the Ultrasonic bath either on the Woodburner for a short while or in the Oven, while the wife is cooking something. My lovely wife put the cases in the oven for me, without me knowing for 40 minutes at 190C. They have come out looking like they been annealed...are the wrecked? gunner
post a close up pic if you can ! -- do they have the annealing colouring all the way from the rim and head ?
terryh
Mark, 190C's short of 400F which is short of the temperature that 'cartridge brass' starts to do anything. From memory you need to be up round the 650 deg F (350ish C) for annealing purposes. T

1967spud
you should be ok but when using them keep a very close eye on case defects and if you start to see any thing stop how many did you do?
walkabout
They don't taste that good even with the gravy! They do have that annealed look all the way from the case rim up. I have been googling!!!!...I think they might be okay?
