baldie
Just had my 30 year old Ohaus 10-10 scales back from Allan [ 1066 ] the gentleman who makes the targetmaster tricklers. They were very good scales to start with. They are now unbelievably smooth and sensitive. Allen has cleaned up the knives , supplied a new pan, fitted a camera and a custom pointer , and in general made a truly marvellous job of them. he tells me they are in excellent condition for 30 years old, and with care, I think they will see me out. Wonderful service from a really nice chap. Highly recommended.

shooter79
What were the costs? Thinking of sending my RCBS 10 10 scales in to him, can you add a pic of the camera setup please? Carl.
1066
Thanks for the comments Dave, I'm please the scales are working well for you. I can only take the scales on by prior arrangement as I'm snowed under with other projects at the moment, however if you're interested send me a PM and I can give you some idea lead time. Grouse
Allan tuned my scales a year ago, what a difference along with his excellent Targetmaster - and a gent to deal with as well. Looking forward to your next projects..

1066
Allan, Have you ever dabbled with the RCBS 304 scales? Terry I have, in the past had a play with the 304's although I don't think I have seen one for at least 10 years - They are a cracking scale but really quite rare here in the UK. Here are a couple being used with the Targetmaster:
