Lots of ice, gradual return to movement and weights in 6 months. Don't rush this, and you'll be back to fighting fitness in no time. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!

I,m going for an mri scan on mine tomorrow getting fed up with the pain and it going el collapso without warning . Don't fancy a new knee though , my pal just had his done and he still can't walk on it after 3 months !

I hope it turns out well ,as Finman said -- take it easy ! ;)

Cheers Guys,

I can get about on crutches and can bare weight on my operated leg (which is miles better than when I damaged it), but its a long process and hope to be back shooting by the end of the year. Hopefully sooner but shooting from a vehicle rather than trying to walk over rough terrain.

mate give me shout if you want any tips...

 

I top trump u on scars tho...

 

3 athoroscopies.

1 partial knee.

1 full knee.

1 m.u.a.

1 arthroscopic debridement.

about 10 shots of cortisone.

1 major open debridement (4hrs) replacement tibial bearing, 1 shaving and replacement prosthetic patela.

 

wondering if I've missed anything...
