6.5shooter
Hello folk, Was just wondering how all of you clean youre expensive lenses? I never really clean my glass because they all have butler creek caps on but one of my lenses has a few water marks on it and im very afraid of scratching it by cleaning it the wrong way. Whats the best way without damaging the glass or glass coatings? Regards Garry

ds1
Avoid optical lens sprays with silicon in them - they can damage coatings. A link to US Optics and their cleaning video below. http://www.usoptics.com/index.php?page=instructions http://www.usoptics.com/video/cln1.wmv David. whoowhoop
Just bought one from Jessops myself today when I went to get batteries for my rangefinder. Looks a much better bet than the Leupold Lens Pen, which I was never very keen on anyway. And half the cost too. Just thinking about using the dental wads, same as in the action cleaning kits, for soaking up any mositure on the lens. Cheap enough. I'll make a kit up in a ziplock bag. Gandy
Brush to get and grit or particles out and then a wipe with a glasses cloth.
