Ooow...dont like the sound of what your going through L.L. Are you home or still in Hospital ? If your still in Hospital get some more pain relief and quickly... Also ask the prettiest nurse for a bed bath.... it may take your mind off your knee. If that don't work ...ask the ugliest nurse cos that sure as hell will ... Hope your feeling better soon mate. Knee is still not great.........still not getting much kip. Anyone thinking about having this done................................dont...... Emergency referal to the consultant yesterday after I queried the unusual angle of my foot. 30 degrees away from the other one............ Which according to the doc, "aint good". Resulting in - More xrays tomorrow to see if the bearing joint has become dislodged. and if it has. A complete new knee job to be done. oh, and guess what I will be doing new years eve if it is dislodged.. Yup spending it under the influence of anesthetic and various opiates....... Joy. Xrays inconclusive, didnt show anything unusual, but thats coz the xray afte the op was taken 2 days after the original op, when damage may have occured during the 2 day period. So, Im off in tomorrow at 0800hrs. Opening me up, checking for tissue, and then if thats not the cause,,,,,,,,,,a full replacement knee.. From now on, I shall mostly be known as ROBOLANCS.
