    grab bag knife

which would you all go for in a grab bag , either the Wilkinson sword survival knife or the tom brown tracker ? I'm leaning towards the tom brown because I can put survival kit in the bag so it doesn't need to be on the knife? (yes I'm bored.....)
  3. Ammo ? In UK supermarkets ! Tbh ammo is the one thing I won't be worrying about !

  5. interestingly my finnfire varmint loves eley subsonic HP as well
  6. I have field dressings in my shooting kit , plus more in my car which is never generally far away when shooting. interestingly we did a risk assessment for range shooting at my club and a doctor we had in the club at the time said that there was a greater need for an AED/first aid training than field dressings because with the membership demographic a heart attack was more likely to need to be dealt with than a gunshot wound ? as for edc , I have a grab bag in my car but on my person I generally have a knife , torch , lighter when outdoors . the grab bag is kept in a cubby hole in the boot of my car and is accordingly difficult to access , this should show the police that I do not intend to use it's contents for evil doings!

    subsonic 308

I did a bit of subsonic stuff with my 308 (original barrel 1-10) i tried everything with mk bullets even backwards like bruce tried and just couldn't get it to work! nearly gave up but as a last resort tried some 180g round nose flat base bullets i had kicking about , perfect ! hovering around the moa at 100m , silent with the mod on and low low recoil, a lot more fun than you'd think! i used unique in the end because trailboss etc wasn't available then but i do have a pot now and i'm intending to give it a try soon? i tried drilling flashholes etc but found it made no difference so scrapped those cases (very important you don't mix them up with normal cases) DTA are correct with the shooting procedure without the can on to check for projectile stability , this is a very important step and if you change anything , re-run the test again! if your going to shoot foxes then be aware that these rounds ricochet far worse than normal HV stuff and they won't expand they will just drill if you understand what i mean? best of luck it really is great fun! R
